Million Step March Campaign Site
Sabre Award Winner
The NC Million Step March site was built to promote a public health campaign run by a prominent, NC-based health care company. It centered on user account functionality that lets people track their steps as they exercise. The site featured a blog, weekly contests, and event calendars. It worked in conjunction with a TV ad buy, PR, and an e-mail campaign.
In addition, it featured a fun mash-up in which blog posts and events were geolocated in Yahoo maps.

A huge team was led by Todd Coats. I designed with Shane Smith and Scott Buzik. I worked on interaction design with Todd Moy. I worked on its development (XHTML, CSS, and Yahoo maps integration primarily) with Paul Smith, Mike Kibbel, and Will Langley.
